Why have we banned lead in petrol, paint, water pipes, and even fishing weights in our reservoirs, yet continue to use it in roofing, allowing rainfall to collect and flow back into our reservoirs?

The honest answer is simple: there were few viable alternatives that performed like lead, looked like lead, and were available off the shelf when needed.

We now have a genuine alternative available.

Stuart Penrose has been a leading figure in the roofing industry for over thirty years and has been entrusted with the care of some of Ireland's most iconic heritage buildings.

Over the past two years, Stuart has collaborated with Leadax (NL) and Roofmart (Ireland) to utilize Leadax in various applications traditionally completed with lead.

Stuart Penrose: “With over thirty years of experience, I have never previously endorsed a roofing product. However, after utilizing Leadax for more than two years, I am assured of its ease of application, even in intricate details. I am convinced that Leadax will become the leading choice for roof flashings.”

We will be hosting a series of breakfast mornings at a nearby builders' supplier. Come see for yourself how Leadax can change your perspective.
